hArt is delighted to be able to offer 5 days of sessions showcasing creative therapies.
Creative therapy workshops
There will be four sessions of Art Therapy, two sessions of Dramatherapy, and four sessions of Dance and Movement Therapy, all presented by highly experienced and qualified therapists. Each session will last for two hours, and will include a brief presentation about the work of the therapist and the extraordinarily effective outcomes for beneficiaries, and there will be some opportunities to experience a taste of the therapies themselves. In the evenings, we will be offering some open drop-in sessions aimed at allowing stressed out adults to come along and relax with some Art for Wellbeing workshops.
On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, sessions are especially aimed at professionals, such as GPs, teachers, potential supporters and referring bodies, to demonstrate just how creative therapies can enable people to express themselves and to explore their feelings in a safe environment under the careful guidance of experienced professional artists and therapists. They will focus on the skills and experience of art therapists, dramatherapists and a dance and movement director. There will be opportunities to learn more about the work of these highly experienced therapists and how hArt is already integrating their work into medical, educational and care settings.
In the afternoons and all day on the Wednesday and Saturday, we will be offering workshop sessions for groups with special needs.
Plus – we have four open evenings from Tuesday to Friday, for carers, teachers and stressed medical professionals whose needs tend to be overlooked but who could benefit from some Art for Well-being sessions themselves.
Places are limited so please get in touch now on email@example.com or call 01590 683343 to register your interest in the hArt at ArtSway programme and to request more information.
